In contrast with this, by investigating appearances of this word within the literature works which was written in Heian period using kana-writing system, we can find that almost all other uses of this word are interpretively used with some implications of Chinese lyric poems. Therefore, in comparison with these, the use of mado in Makurano-soshi has a very unique pragmatic characteristic. However, we still have to notice that there may be extra possibility of another way of understanding.
