This Commission has published Education for All American Children on elementary schools, and on secondary schools Education for All American Youth and its revised edition, Education for All American Youth : A Further Look. These books created two fictitious towns and discussed the reform of curriculum to be carried out there. What is common to all these books is the philosophy of deeper development of American democracy and the attitude of respecting each student's individuality. They propose to realize democratic way of life, respect of individuality, and the curriculum as feedback from the society, so that schools and other societies make good ecolgy.
