This study was intended to study the long-term influences of these teacher behaviors, and how children internalize them. University students were interviewed to recall the motivating behaviors of their elementary-school teachers and their influences on them. Various types of teacher-behaviors and their influences were found out. When teachers motivated their pupils by multiple ways of influence, it was indicated to have strong effect on pupils' learning. Many student reported that they have internalized some value which their teacher didn't originally intended to motivate.
