DDA, which places requirements on employers and service providers not to discriminate against people with disabilities, did not originally include similar requirements for the provision of education. SENDA amended DDA, and the changes by SENDA made it unlawful for institutions to discriminate against disabled students in their admission, admission arrangements or terms, exclusion or suspension arrangements, and the provision of student services. From the implementation of this legislation, responsible bodies are required not to discriminate against people with disabilities. When we consider the discrimination against the students with disabilities, less favourable treatments and reasonable adjustments are very important concepts.
