But nowadays it is necessary to develop pupil's reasoning ability in the field of morality. Because almost all young people who give rise to trouble are apt to get emotional when they must think about matters rationally. This paper is an attempt to examine a line of moral reasoning in moral education from the perspective of practical syllogization. First of all, a logical syllogism and its reversed usage are examined. Secondly, a counter-syllogism is presented to explicate a relation between what we know we should do and what we do. And thirdly, moral education in the light of practical syllogization is compared to Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy.
