There is a fault that they treat narrative as a new system of interpretation in introducing narratology. In this paper I discuss the significance that the analysis of narratives makes as a basis for exchanging interpretations and I propose a three point method for examining the effectiveness of narratives, as follows : ①Is the narrator internal or external ? ②Is the narrator's identity indicated in the text ? ③To whom is the narrator snuggled up ?
