Under these conditions, home economics must play a great role in school education. In this paper, I pointed out mistakes that there is a stereotype grouping of function of nutrients in home economics textbooks in view of established current nutrition. In brief, all nutrients play important roles as a regulator and a structural element in the cell, where dynamic metabolism is undertaken in a strictly regulated network by molecules synthesized from various nutrients.
