Soseki NATSUME met with Japanese classics ; \"The tale of Genji\" ''The tale of Nrihira\" and so on in his young days. Especially \"Kusamakura (Grass pillow)\" shows us evident traces from Manyosyu and No song. He made independent researches about Japanese classics and adopted them in his work on his own. Ryunosuke AKUTAGAWA also had an affinity to Japanese classics.
