The Textbooks have 180 music teaching materials, and they correspond with mentally retarded children's interest, development of music talent, and daily life. We made a teaching plan, using the Textbooks as a teaching material, in mentally retarded class which had 5 children. Their age were 7-12. VTR records were analyzed of children's activities. In rhythmic responces, one child had much difficulty to responded, the others could respond to the complicated rhythmic patterns. But all of them participated in music class pleasantly with supports by teachers, and enjoyed.
