This research compared the impression formation model of a favorite and a disagreeable person. First, The data without distinction of a favorite and a disagreeable person were analyzed by factor analysis. And the components were classified into three basic dimensions, 'social desirability', 'personal friendliness', and 'activity'. A model which was made by based on that result was verified using covariance structure analysis. The result was different from impression formation of a favorite person and a disagreeable person. Secondly, each of a favorite and a disagreeable person's data was analyzed by factor analysis. And the components were both classified into five dimensions as a subordinate concept of basic dimensions. But, it showed that a favorite person's dimensions concept was not identical to a disagreeable person's dimensions concept. Thence two models which were made by based on each results were verified individually using covariance structure analysis.
