The spinal curvature of the subjects was estimated by means of graphic morphological analyses. The spinal curvature of skilled Kendo group was compared with control group which has not experienced Kendo. The skilled Kendo group was divided in two groups, back pain group (n=16) and non back pain group (n=14), according to the experience of lumbago in the past. (1) There was no difference in the characteristics of the spinal curvature between the skilled Kendo group and the control group. (2) In the skilled Kendo group, the thoracic posterior curvature, the lumbar anterior curvature and the inclination of warped back in the back pain group were smaller than those in the non back pain group.
