This learning material is regarded to be effective for developing the skills of geography. In the material, pupils and students simulate to seek the location for a new convenience store in Ranzan-machi. The material includes over hundred kinds of sources : landscape photos, topographic maps, land use maps, aerial photos, and the thematic maps of populations and land prices. When such a large quantity of source is printed on papers, it is difficult for pupils to control them. But, these sources are digitized and linked each other, so as to readout easily by Web browser soft. We adopt the Web browser soft to handle the sources, since these soft wares are generally free and the user interfaces of them are very sophisticated. We applied the material to a university laboratory class.
