| 内容記述 | 本稿は，上越教育大学の1年次(2003年)〜4年次(2006年)に実施した追跡調査に基づき，4年間の学生生活を通じてどういう知識や能力を身につけ，それが教員を中心とする進路や職業の形成にいかに結びついているか分析する。多重対応分析の結果，教員志望／教員外志望，順応傾向／非順応傾向という対立軸を見出すことができ，教員になる専門知識やコミュニケーション能力の増減が対応することが明らかになった。しかし，外国語能力の増減は，これらの対立軸とは別に，第3軸に外国語を伴う／伴わないキャリアという関係を作り出していた。大学院進学準備と結びつく外国語能力の増加が，教員になる知識・技能やコミュニケーション能力とは異なる次元で，オルタナティブな能力の獲得として位置している。求められる職業形成に応じて多元的な文化習得をうながす社会化過程がみられる一方，たがいに相容れることが困難な矛盾も抱えている。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | This paper is intended to analyse processes of career building through four years student life, according to panel survey results of Joetsu University of Education, and partly of a private university and a junior college in Kansai District (first and second years).\ Appling multiple correspondence analysis, we found three major axes of opposition patterns : (1) applicant / non-applicant of teaching profession, (2) conformity / non-conformity to student life, (3) career building with / without foreign language. An increase of knowledge of foreign language is related to the preparation for graduate school, but not to the conformity with student life which is accompanied with (Japanese) communication skills. Learning of foreign language (particularly in English) makes an alternative process of acquisition of vocational ability. We can find the diversity of socialization processes for career building, and also the inconsistency among them. |
