本研究は，自己開示を受けやすい被開示者の特徴を，開示者の開示動機との関連から検討した。対象は大学生・大学院生139名であった。結果から，自分への理解や肯定を求め，あるいは迷いを相談したいために自己開示する人は，それらの動機の弱い人と比べ，共感性や知的態度をもつ人に自己開示するが，不安・寂しさの吐露という自己開示動機については，その高低による被開示者の特徴に違いがないことが示された。開示者は，開示動機によって能動的に開示相手を選んでいることが示唆された。 |

This study examined relationships between motives for self-disclosure and disclosures’perception toward receivers’characteristics and interpersonal attitudes. Participants were 139 undergraduate and graduate students, and two questionnaires were used to assess their motives for self-disclosure and their perception toward receivers’ characteristics and interpersonal attitudes that they usually disclose to. Results showed that persons with strong motives for self-affirmation, being accepted, or getting advice disclosed to receivers who were perceived to be empathetic and intellectual characteristics than those with week motives. Persons with both strong and weak motives to disclose their anxiety and loneliness did not show different perception of the receivers’characteristics and attitudes. These suggested that when people do self-disclosure, they would actively choose receivers’ characteristics and interpersonal attitudes based on their motives for their self-disclosure. |
