| 内容記述 | 一九二三年七月未の〈サハリン旅行〉が、「とし子」哀悼を主題とする『オホーツク挽歌』詩群を産みおとした。しかし、〈サハリン旅行〉が、なぜ？ － われわれは、賢治とともに、「北方」という方位性に「兜率弥勒浄土」をおもいえがかねばならない。賢治においては、「とし子」は、「兜率弥勒浄土」に生まれ変わったと確信されている。『オホーツク挽歌」は、賢治の実際の〈サハリン旅行〉が、「北方」という方位性において「とし子」を追跡する行程に変換され、虚構として表出されたものなのである。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | Kenji Miyazawa went on a journey to Sakhlin in 1923, and this journey produced "Okhotsk Elegy" on the theme of his sister Toshiko's death and reborn. Why did this journey give birth to that poem? This paper tries to throw light on this question. Kenji was convinced that Toshiko had been reborn in Tosotsu Miroku Jodo, the Pure Land in the North. He went toward the north in his journey with a firm belief that the journey to Sakhlin could be an approach to the Pure Land in the North where Toshiko was. | |||||||||||
