| 内容記述 | 「国際」という言葉が現在多くの場で使われている。学校においても「国際理解」の教育の推進・充実が期待されている。具体的には主に「総合的な学習の時間」を通して国際理解の教育が従来よりもー層ダイナミックに進められるようになった。同時に現在，2つの文化を背負ったいろいろな「ダブルの子ども」と言われる存在が増えている。この現実を看過して皮相的な国際理解の教育を行ってもどこにも意味はない。国際理解の教育を成立させるなら，自国主義でも自虐史観でもないリアリティの歴史観が必要である。つまり現実の学級にいるダブルの子どもを理解することが国際理解の教育の根幹となる。それは個人と個人の理解であり，他者へのまなざしを鍛えるのが最も重要な課題と考える | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | The term 'international' is currently used in many situations. At school promotion of education for international understanding and its further enrichment are expected. To be concrete, the Period for Integrated Study makes it possible to conduct education for international understanding more dramatically than before. Here it should be noticed that children so-called 'the Double' are increasing in number. Among them are newcomers and children born by their mothers coming from abroad who got married to their fathers engaged in agriculture in a farming village. Children of Korean residents in Japan and Amerasians also fall under this category of 'the Double'. It is meanigless to carry out superficial education for international understanding in total disregard of the Double. We have to form a historical view in which to consider the real existence of the Double, which is neither nationalism nor masochism, in order to provide chidren with education for international understanding. That is, what is essential to education for international understanding is to understand the Double who live their school life in classes with ordinary children. This has something to do with the understanding of individuals, and we consider it most important to try to fix our gaze on others. | |||||||||||
