本研究は, 上越教育大学において平成12年度から開講されている授業科目｢表現･(子ども)の活動｣の中の｢映像を取り入れよう｣の授業実践をもとに, 教員養成課程における｢表現･コミュニケーション｣教育の意義について考察したものである｡この｢映像を取り入れよう｣の授業実践は, 学生自身のからだでかたちをつくるアクチュアルな活動をヴァーチャルな影絵として映し出し, その影絵の表現を体験するというものである｡授業での学生の様子や反応, レポート等を考察した結果, 学生がヴァーチャルな世界とアクチュアルな世界を同時的に体験していること, 2つの空間を行き来しながら自らの表現方法を拡大させていることが明らかになった｡そのことは, いったん身体や知覚のレベルまで下降して世界への通路を構築する可能性とその中での他者とのかかわりの可能性を示唆するものであり, 学生は想像力を豊かにし, 世界へつながる具体的方法を獲得していったと捉えることができる｡そして, このような体験は, 教員になる上で必要な表現・コミュニケーション能力を育てる営みとして意味があると考えられる。 |

The aim of this research is to examine ‘expression/communication’ education, based on a practical class entitled ‘Using lmages’, which has been part of the ‘Expression/Children's Activities’ course taught at Joetsu University of Education since the year 2000.This ‘Using Images’ practical class involves students engaging in the actual activity of forming their own bodies into various shapes, and experiencing this through the virtual expression form of silhouettes. It is clear from studying the students' actions and reactions in class, together with their reports, that the students experience the virtual world and actual world simultaneously, and that going back and forth between the two spaces enables them to expand their own methods of expression. It also appears that moving their own bodies and engaging with others develops the students' expressive and communicative abilities at the physical and sensory levels, which are linked to the ability of a teacher to be physically open and approachable in front of children. |
