本研究では,小・中学校教員の家庭学習に対する意識を調査するとともに,理科授業において,子どもが授業前に教科書を読むなどの予習を行った場合の学習への効果に関する調査・分析を行った。その結果,教師は,理科では予習より復習を行うことで授業の意欲がわいてくると考えていることや事象との出会いを大切にしたいと考えていることを明らかにした。また,予習を奨励した中学校2年生を対象にした授業実践を行った。事前に予習を行ってきた子どもは授業を楽しみに思ったり,新たな発見をしたりしていた。また,授業から得られる新たな発見を損なうことなく事象との新鮮な出会いをしていた。その結果,教師の意識と子どもの意識にずれがあることが明らかになった。",
