| 内容記述 | は著しく地誌的内容が多かったこと，その後の改訂では単に地誌的学習内容の量が減じただけではなく，学校・教師といった実践場面での学習内容選択の自由度が増したことを具体的に明らかにした。さらに，内容変化とカリキュラム編成過程をあわせて検討することで，カリキュラム編成原理として，同心円拡大法がカリキュラム編成において一貫して用いられている一方，地誌的編成原理は1991年版では強く志向されたものの1995年版・2000年版ではその役割を減じていることが明らかとなった。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | This study compared and examined the area studies content in 1991 edition, 1955 edition and 2000 edition of Geography in the National Curriculum (England). As the result, 1991 edition had the area studies content remarkably, in afterwards revision, not only that the quantity of the area studies content decreases but also that degree of freedom of learning content selection in the practice scene increases clear. By examining the curriculum development process, the regional approach principle was strongly aimed in 1991 edition development. But the development process of 1995 edition and 2000 edition, the regional approach principle role had been reduced, while the concentric approach principle is consistently used as a curriculum development process. | |||||||||||
